We are excited to reconnect with those who have been a part of ABWHE and build connections with those new to ABWHE. Inc.
The Philadelphia Chapter’s theme for the year is Preparing for Generations and goals are:

Care for the Cornerstone by re-setting chapter programming while investing in the future.

Cover the Community by expanding our chapter presence and outreach throughout the region.
Given the dozens of higher educational institutions residing throughout southeastern Pennsylvania, we are excited and honored to bring together Black women in the academy serving in varying roles and disciplines and who carry a breadth of skills, talents, and learning opportunities.
We're looking to engage members by offering the following:

Hosting fundraisers

Providing scholarships

Offering professional development and writing events

Facilitating mentoring opportunities

Collaborating with regional institutions and organizations
Above all, we're looking forward to intergenerational collaborations and cross-institutional engagements to serve the full pipeline of learning communities, from K-12 schools to college students to working professionals and faculty members.
